Solana (SOL) is a high-throughput blockchain capable of processing thousands of transactions per second at extremely low fees. Launched in 2020, it rapidly became a leading platform for DeFi, NFTs, and meme coins. Solana experienced significant drawdowns during the FTX collapse in 2022 but staged a remarkable recovery.
